I have practiced acupuncture in the Tacoma area since 2010.
My areas of clinical interest include but are not limited to all types of pain such as neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain, joint pain, knee pain, foot pain; headaches and migraines; fatigue, and stress; sleep disturbances, depression and anxiety; women’s health including menstrual irregularities, PMS, hot flashes, mood swings, infertility; as well as digestive and urinary disorders.
In addition to using thin sterile acupuncture needles, I often incorporate cupping therapy or gua sha therapy or use electrical stimulation applied to the needles along with infrared heat therapy into your treatment to encourage the body’s healing response. Essential oil therapy may also be used to promote relaxation and alleviate stress. A Chinese herbal formula or a nutritional supplement based on your individual needs may be recommended.
I am licensed by the WA Department of Health (AC 60116655, AEMP, LAc) and board-certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (Dipl. Acu. NCCAOM). I graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine with a Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM).
